Teach and review learning

Mark work, review diagnostics, use learning insight and set orientation.

For: A tutor with authorised learners or cohorts. Outcome: Teaching decisions use attributable evidence while objectives and promises remain unchanged.

Before you begin

Open the relevant course, cohort or scheduled session. Drona limits each learner view to tutors who currently teach that learner.

Journey

  1. Before a class, open the cohort learning summary from Schedule.
  2. Review progress, attendance, objective distributions, unanswered questions and active attention signals.
  3. Open a learner insight and record a teaching action or dismiss a signal with a reason where appropriate.
  4. Open Assignment marking, assess the submitted response against its criterion and return a score and written feedback.
  5. For a completed gated diagnostic, review the exact objective profile and record the access decision and reason.
  6. Open Learner orientations to view the effective orientation and its source. Change an enrolment override only when teaching needs it.

What happens next

Actions and feedback remain attributable. Orientation changes presentation weighting, not learning objectives, declared level or promised outcomes. Learner and guardian views show material facts without tutor-only controls.

Troubleshooting

  • No evidence is neutral; do not treat it as an assessed gap.
  • If a learner is absent, verify you opened the correct cohort or enrolment.
  • If an orientation change is not visible, confirm the enrolment override was saved and reload the effective source.
